Reflection for the Semester

The first semester of this course was quite overwhelming, however the open-endedness that this module (and this course in general) provides when creating something for an assignment is a complete breath of fresh air compared to my experiences so far.

When it came to what I learned, I realized that it was less on the technical aspects of the module but it was more focused on how to distinguish oneself from the others with your own work and how to find your own unique direction. Many of the technical skills taught in this module can realistically be easily found through a quick Google search, but the personalized advice and knowledge on how to develop my sense for design is indispensable here. Another point that I learned was to schedule my workflow in order of priority, as I found it much easier to organize my work once I can decide on what to work on first.

Mr. Yusoff was an absolutely fantastic lecturer as he always gave clear and concise explanations when is assigning us new work. I also appreciate all the small tips that he has given us which could further enhance our work. His enthusiasm in the subject also gives me some encouragement to try and create something exciting for my projects as well.
